Socially responsible

In addition to sustainability, Bamboo Basics also stands for socially responsible production. We regularly receive questions about the ecological and human aspects of our production processes. This is logical, as our customers are making increasingly conscious choices. That's why we want to be transparent about everything related to these issues.

Code of Conduct

We have drawn up a code of conduct to uphold our values and standards. Here we describe, among other things, the safety of the working environment, the payment of a fair wage, no child labor, freedom of association and the monitoring of hygiene. You can view the entire code of conduct here. We only work with suppliers who have signed our Code of Conduct. The bamboo we use in our products comes from China, where it is processed locally into a finished product. Bamboo Basics has local offices and employees here who monitor compliance with the Code of Conduct on an almost daily basis.

BSCI

All our suppliers are BSCI-certified. This stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative. This is an initiative of companies that are committed to better working conditions in the global supply chain. Read more about BSCI here. Independent recognized organizations monitor all processes. We receive an annual audit report from them.
